Some former Netidentity customers had been noticing that they were not able to send or receive email after the Upgrade when using the old Netidentity mail settings.
This was isolated to only the domains owned by the Netidentity customers themselves and not the Personal Names email addresses such as john@smith.net.
We have tested and put in a fix for this issue so that both the old Netidentity mail settings as well as the new Hover mail settings work for domains registered by former Netidentity customers.
We have been able to correct the issue that was causing blogs not to show up for Netidentity customers move to Hover. We have tested a number of blogs to make sure this is working and everything is correct.
If you are seeing any problems with your Blog showing up please make sure you send us a note at help@hover.com and we’ll investigate.

We look forward to working with you in Hover.
We are entering into the final testing phase for the upgrade to Hover. We are validating the data within the Hover system and making sure everything is functional.
The upgrade has been moving smoothly throughout the day and we are still on track for opening up Hover to you at Midnight EDT.
The upgrade from the Netidentity system to Hover is continuing and everything is going through as planned. We are still on track to have the Hover system available for you by 11:59pm EDT tonight.
Final verification on all accounts has been completed and the transition between Netidentity and Hover is underway.
Access to the Netidentity customer control panel will be off-line until the upgrade has been completed. Access to the customer control panel will be available at https://www.hover.com/login once the upgrade is completed.

Hello there!
As you are aware by now, we are upgrading your NetIdentity/Nameplanet account to our new Hover service as of March 9, 2009.
On this day, your services and billing information will be moved over to Hover.com and we will decommission the NetIdentity/Nameplanet systems.
A few of you have asked what happens to your personalized email addresses if we are requiring you to change the userid that you use to login to your account.
Hover users have a different account login from their email address. This allows us to do cool things like have multiple email address per account, domain forwarding and a whole bunch of other features. So, to be perfectly clear - YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS WILL NOT CHANGE! (sorry for shouting :) - only the userid that you use to login to your Hover account.
We will be posting more details closer to the date - if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
As of 10:30pm EST tonight, the upgrade from Domain Direct to Hover completed without incident. We took some extra time this evening to tie off a few loose ends and make some minor adjustments, but as of this writing, you can now login to your new Hover account to manage the services you purchased through Domain Direct.
There are a lot of changes - be sure to check out our handy upgrade guide.
Thanks so much for your patience during the extended maintenance window today - I promise each of you that the wait was worth it!
We’re just in the final stages of cleanup with the upgrades. Everything went very smoothly and we’re just conducting some final testing and inspection before we close out the maintenance window.
I will post again once we are free and clear from any additional work.
Hi everyone -
The upgrade is going exceptionally well at this point. All account information has been moved to the new database and we are now working on syncing the Domain Direct OpenSRS account with the Hover OpenSRS account. This bit of work will ensure that you will be able to manage your domain names and email from your Hover account when we re-enable it for signin later on today.
We saw some initial slowness with the synchronization, but some quick work by the engineering team smoothed this out and put everything back on track.
The team is still on track to complete the work by midnight tonight (EST) as projected.
